Venessa Bennett, Head of UX at Cazoo

Talk Title – The designers guide to getting buy in.

Venessa is a design leader that helps craft experiences that meet business and customer needs. She has shipped many products for household names like Vodafone and Rightmove, all the way to small startups. Venessa advocates using design thinking principles to help solve business problems. She strives to create and build diverse teams and is currently the Head of UX at Cazoo.

David Davies, Senior Accessibility Consultant and a User Experience Designer at Leeds Building Society

Talk Title – Beyond the checkpoints.

David’s career spans across private and non-profit organisations as an ICT specialist, but his passion started (in 2012/13) with volunteering for Shaw Trust Web Accessibility Services, which led to him becoming their technical specialist, this in turn allowed him to lead major client engagements including EasyJet, Ocado, McDonalds’s UK, Just Eat and multiple UK councils including City of London.
