Digital Product Design Event – DX SHOTS Leeds – Inspires Guests Yet Again
We continued our series of educational networking events with another slick and inspirational evening at The Carriageworks, Leeds last week. Building on the success of the last event in March by the same name, DX Shots by LION+MASON is a relaxed series of informative events for professionals in the UX and digital product design industry.
The latest DX Shots seminar featured talks from expert guest speakers Venessa Bennett, Head of UX at Cazoo, David Davies, Senior Accessibility Consultant and a User Experience Designer at Leeds Building Society, plus our very own UX Director Paul Cook.
Feedback from guests included “Really interesting set of talks last week with LION+MASON on how to left shift design validation and how to keep championing product design and user experience (whether those users are internal, external or B2B!). Will definitely be going to another.” Luke Wakelin, Project Manager at Lenvi
There was also refreshments, networking opportunities and practical advice related to:
– Product Design
– Service Design
– Customer/User Experience
– UX/Visual Design
– User research/Testing
One of the guest speakers Venessa Bennett commented “DX Shots is a great event for designers to come together to share stories and experiences. Events like this are important so that peers can network and cross paths with others that they wouldn’t day to day.”
Founder of LION+MASON Andrew Machin said: “We recognised there was a great opportunity to engage with the UX design and digital product community in Leeds. We have been hosting events that enable a platform for discussion around challenges, trends and success stories from the area. So far the response has been incredible and we look to keep building on its success.”
LION+MASON are excited to play our part in creating a community of inspired and creative digital product professionals and provide opportunities for shared learning and networking. Follow us on LinkedIn and keep an eye on our website to find out about upcoming events in September and November.
